...of MBAs,basils & bangsarvillages...

Henry Brooks Adams, American historian-author (1838-1918) once said that a teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops. I hope that is also true in my case...heheh. Last thursday January 31st, I had lunch again with my MBA students (who have since graduated with flying colors, congratulations!), Areehan and Aznirisa above. We have been trying to go back to this Thai eatery called Basil @BangsarVillageOne. The others in the same group, could not join us. Both Areehan and Azni are two of the 25 selected future leaders of Telekom Malaysia Berhad. They were all sent to do the MBA at International Business School (IBS), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) at the City Campus, Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur. They were divided into four (4) groups. I was one of the advisers, teacher, mentor and examiner. Both Areehan and Azni are now in important strategic positions within the TM group. Watch out for them....they may be CEOs sooner than you think...
